Welcome to Hôtel du Simplon, a 2 star hotel with character and charm located in \'presquîle\', the \'peninsula\' between the rivers Rhône and Saône.

Our hotel is near the main train station of Perrache and the greenery of the place Carnot. Our hotel has 37 rooms with reasonable prices.

Although this part of the city is primarily residential, three commercial streets run through it, leading to the place Bellecour, the largest square in the city : rue Victor Hugo, rue Auguste Comte and rue de la Charité whose galleries and shops are heaven for antiques and art lovers.

Utterly superb. Very friendly, helpful staff. Real charm, nice decor, good shower/bathrooms, Beds a touch on the hard side but that can't be helped. Nice Breakfast, TV and internet in all rooms..... and so on. Faultless, basically. Will not contemplate any other hotel in Lyon from now on. This is the one.
