Daily cleaning (soap and toiletpaper included), towels every second day.
The hotel counts with a security safe in the office.

We don´t accept credit cards, only cash (Mexican pesos, US-dollar, Euro).

One of the nicest places we stayed in in Mexico. Friendly and helpful owners, great location, big room with kitchenette, pleasant garden area. I would stay here again and would recommend Hotel Colorado to my friends.

This hotel is nicely situated in playa del Carmen. A little bit away from the tourists area and close to cheap food. The management will tell you that your things are safe on their premises but truth be told I did cost me a camera and a computer to find out it's not quite true. I will not be staying there again. When I told the owners about my misfortune they simply told me that I shouldn't have left my luggage in their care.
I previously stayed at jardins de murietta on 5th ave. For ten dollars more a night the place is very secure, clean and the personal is very friendly. I will stay there next time as 10$ a night is much cheaper than the items I now have to replace

"After his check-out the client let several pieces of luggage in the reception to pick them up one by one some hours later and bring them to a nearby rented condo. The next day he came back and asked for a missing camera, and two days after his check-out he showed up again, now claiming the loss of a camera and a laptop. The CC-TV of the reception showed that nobody had had contact with his luggage. We then offered to call the police to help the client, but the police or any other authority was instantly refused. We are extremely sorry about the client´s misfortune, but it definetly did not happen here."

My husband and I loved the colorful rooms and outside sitting area. The location was very handy. Mini supers and fruit markets were less than a block away. The managers were very pleasant and helpful. We'll be back!

This is probably the nicest hostel in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are very colourful, cosy and spacious and I felt right at home. The German owners are very kind and very willing with whatever question you have. I simply loved staying here.

ok for the price, but even though it is clean, everything seems quite old, the bathroom, bed, etc.

This is indeed a lovely boutique hotel of good value . The owners are very amiable and helpful. It is clean, comfortable and only few blocks away from the beach, 5th avenue and the bus terminal. Near by there are numerous restaurants where one can eat with satisfaction. At the corner of 4th and 20th, there is a local restaurant that serves really delicious local dishes, such as esplanades, enchiladas, tacos etc. The prices of all dishes are very reasonable. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who look for good value lodging in Playa del Carmen. JS & T Chin
