Gustavo was a great host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a few issues. such as a lack of hot water, on arrival, but Gustavo made every effort to get that sorted for us. Overall, a very comfortable stay and we recommend it to others.

My husband and I stayed for a week before our Antarctica Trip and then for 4 days after our trip. It was great. Felt very cozy and homely due to the split level of the apartment. Free local phonecalls, free wi-fi plus homemade bread, jam, tea, coffee etc for breakfast everyday. Helpful owners...who would often give us a lift into town. The location seems a little out of town but it's not too bad at all. We just took one of the two buses that run every 10-20 minutes for AR$2.20...took about 20 mins by bus or about 10 mins by cab - which you can call or there are plenty you can flag down...about AR$13 from memory. This place is great for a family or a couple who are staying in town for more than a few days and want the freedom the cook for themselves in the evening (there is even a BBQ you can use too). We highly recommend Patagonia Sur!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights after sailing from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia. We arrived earlier than we expected, but were still welcomed. The owner gave us a lift back into Ushuaia centre.
Location is out of town, but local bus costs just 2.20 pesos, taxi about 18 Pesos.
Owner hires cars. We used one for a day, good value and nice vehicle.
Cleaning of apartment excellent and very comfortable beds.
Owner provides homemade bread. English spoken
