Karl-Renner Youthhostel of Naturfriends, Berlijn, Duitsland

The “Karl-Renner House” is a part of the institution "Die Naturfreunde".

"Die Naturfreunde" have been founded in 1895 in Vienna and is one of the oldest and largest environmental and recreational organizations worldwide. In Berlin, the nature lovers engage in more than 20 local groups.

We are 15 min from the Berlin Centre, direction south-west.

The youth hostel “Karl-Renner” is an institution of “NaturFreunde” Berlin. We have hosted individual travelers, youth groups, classes, sport clubs, and seminar groups from all over the world.

The “Karl-Renner House” contains 120 beds in it's 3 adjoined houses. Our rooms can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests per room, with some rooms having their own shower and toilets, some with just showers, and others having a bathroom and shower on every floor. Depending on the number of available rooms, guests may also come in groups. For group leaders and bus drivers, single and double rooms with shower and bathroom can be offered depending on room availability.

From Berlin Central Station

You can take the Central Station the Train S 3, S 5, S 7 or S 75 direction to Ost Berlin for one stop; Friedrichstraße.

Change to S 1 direction to Wannsee and get off at Lichterfelde-Westt. From there, walk through the Basler Strasse into Potsdamer Strasse. After about 400m you reach Ringstraße. We are just at the begining of that street and you can't miss us.

Travel by car

When traveling from the south (Magdeburg, A 2, A 9 Leipzig, Dresden A 13, Frankfurt / O. A 12) take the Berliner Ring A 10, exit Potsdam / Berlin, on the A115 to the former service station "Dreilinden ".

Turn onto the B1 towards the city center and stay on this road until it bears the name "Unter den Eichen." Turn right there in the Drakestraße and follow this approximately 1 km turn right again into the ring-straße.

When traveling from the north (Hamburg A 24, Prenzlau A 11) take

the Berliner Ring A10 at junction Oranienburg on the freeway and follow the A111 towards Wilmersdorf, exit "Steglitz". There you go straight to the office tower Steglitz carries over to the B 1 which are called "Unter den Linden". After about 2 km turn left into the Drakestr. Turn and continue as above.
