Situated on 4 acres of bush, surrounded by 40 acres of crown land to hike or bike and just a short walk away from Ragged Falls, one of the prettiest waterfalls in the area, the Wolf Den is where its at. Come and enjoy the hostel experience of the Wolf Den all year round. We offer affordable timberframe lodge and log cabin accommodations for the single traveller as well as groups wanting to get together and share in the magic of Algonquin Park. Cooking and lounge facilities are located in the main lodge where you can meet new friends from around the world. There are communal BBQ's, a volleyball court, new cedar log sauna and firepit available for use. Discounts available for your group adventure, small business retreat, outdoor club or ski getaway.

Five minutes down the road is Algonquin Outfitters for all of your outfitting needs, including canoes, skiis, snoeshoes, camping gear ect....

Accommodations

The Wolf den offers a variety of accommodations and getaway packages to suit any traveller's needs. Private rooms for 1,2,3,or 4, as well as dorm style rooms and cabins.

Cabins

One rustic cabin with a kithenette and BBQ that can accomodate up to 7 people.

One rustic cabin for 4 with a screened-in porch.

Bunkhouses

2 beautiful large log cabins that can accommodate groups of up to 16 people each, as well as the solo traveller in our dorms. Drms have 8 beds are there are two private rooms for 4 people each.

Main Lodge or Rendevous Site

The reclaimed historic log and timber frame lodge is a wonderful space to share with people from around the world. Contains the litchen, lounge and private rooms for 1, 2 or 3 people.

Note: Dorm rooms and cabins not available from Nov.1st to May 1st.

From Toronto, take hwy 400 up to Barrie(it turns into hwy 11)

Head to Huntville and take hwy 60 east towards the park.
