"Casa Rural Aroma de Campo" is a charming hacienda style bed & breakfast build on the highest point of a finca with marvellous views.

There is no better place to hear the peaceful sound of the singing birds and trees and watching the breathtaking sunsets.

The Casa Rural is complete with four guestrooms and have private baths, cold and hot water. Each offering a cozy atmosphere and different style. Rates include a full country breakfast featuring home-made juices, fresh fruits , pancakes, delicious eggs and fresh brewed coffee.

Located close to the main entrance las pailas of the national park Rincon de la Vieja, Casa Rural Aroma de Campo is the perfect setting for your next retreat or outing. The casa rural is located between the small village Curubande an the national park Rincon de la Vieja and surrounded by forests and ripling rivers.

We have 4 rooms who all have private bathrooms with hot water and ceiling fans. The green , sherry and tobasco room has a queen bed and single bed.

The blue room has a dubbel bed and 2 bunkbeds for families.

In front of the rooms is a big terrace and gardens with splendid views into the surrounding tree canopy.

The meals are served at a large communal table, table d’Hôte, and in a rustic ambiance.

We serve exquisite international food combined with the typical costarican vegetables and flavours.

The meals are prepared by the mistress of the house. Her speciality is thai food.

We are situated between Liberia and the national park Rincon the la Vieja, the main entrance Las Pailas, in the small town called Curubande.

By bus/train:

The closest bus stop/station is in Liberia. In Costa Rica there is no railway.

By car:

Take the Pan-American highway north from Liberia in the direction of La Cruz-Nicaraguan border. About 3km on the highway you follow the signs on your right in the direction of Curubande, Rincon de la Vieja, Las Pailas section, hacienda Guacipelin. Pass the small town of Curubande and 2 km further east you take a left north following our sign casa rural aroma de campo.
