This is a great place to stay. It has a nice country location and it is clean, friendly, and very good value. It is, of course, especially good for visiting the ancient sites at Newgrange. The only possible problem is the location, which is such that it is difficult to stay at the Lodge without a car. We did not have a car and it was in general ok, but it meant a kilometer walk into the village to get an evening meal. However, the walk from the Lodge to the center for visiting the sites is very short and there is bus service from there to the nearby town (except on Sunday), from which there is bus and train service to both Dublin and Belfast.
Excellent very welcoming, friendly and flexible.
