This is a great place to stay if you want to experience Downtown Cairo. We had a fabulous time at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and offered excersion to the pyramids at competative rates. The rooms were spacious, clean and very suitable for a family. Breakfast was basic and traditionally Egyptian. don't be put off by the entrance and the rickerty lift that all adds to the character of this establisment. Great location for the Egyptian Museum and the metro ( brilliant way to get around). We loved it and would gladly stay again. Fantastic value for money. Please don't complain about the noisey traffic!!

no cleaning for 3 days of stay,
very bad cleaning on arrival
in the room no any furniture exapt bed and small bedside table . No even just a hook for the cloth
everyone smoke in the lobby all the time, including staff - so you can/t escape this smell
1 towel - small like the handkerchief. When ask for the towel for the body - they bring one -but the size like for the face
it is not new at all -as they discribe -may be it is new opening of an old one?
which service of a 5 star they are talking about - I didn't recognize for my 3 nights stay
Tours they offer -you could buy cheapper just at the same street - at the agencies (at least 10 of them in 100m distance)
Pick up from airport was in time but
for the transfer to airport they ask 60% more then I pay to taxi which is easy get near by - it take me 1 minite
would not recommend to anyone -for this price in that area you will find a lot of hotels
