Reading is ideally situated for both the business and leisure traveller. Superbly located west of London, it is 25 minutes by rail from Paddington Station in London and within half an hours drive to Maidenhead.

The 18 tastefully furnished and well appointed en-suite bedrooms are all equipped with remote colour television, direct dial telephone, work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press hair dryer and also free WI-FI Access from each room.

In most of the rooms smoking is not permitted. There is ample parking available in our private car park situated at the rear of the hotel.

There is a relaxing and quite setting in which to enjoy a drink whilst perusing our imaginative dinner menu and extensive wine list. A selection of British and continental beers and lagers are available.

A lighter menu is available at weekends. In the morning you can enjoy both a full English Breakfast and Continental buffet which is included in the room rate.

Our meeting rooms are ideal for interviews and small meetings up to 6 persons or for conferences and meetings for up to 12 persons. We can cater for all types of functions; our management team are on call to discuss venues and menus.

Exit motorway M4 at Junction 11 sign posted Reading A33.

Exit roundabout to follow signs for A33 Reading.

Go straight across 4 roundabouts staying on A33 (stay in left lane after 4th roundabout) towards Reading until you approach traffic lights opposite the BP Garage (on your left).

Fork left just before lights taking slip road left, sign posted to Newbury A4.

Proceed to the end of the road, at T junction turn left along Berkeley Avenue sign posted Newbury A4.

Through traffic lights, go straight across first roundabout (Beefeater restaurant on left).

At next set of traffic lights turn right (signposted Tilehurst) into Liebenrood Road.

Proceed to end of the road to roundabout, exit right intoTilehurst Road (signposted towards Town Centre).

Take the 3rd turning on the left into Connaught Road.

The Abbey House Hotel is situated 100 yards on your left.
