YMCA Penzance is a warm and friendly hostel that welcomes travellers from around the world. Play pool or watch TV in our large lounge; relax in the sunny patio garden; use our internet computers or free Wi-Fi to catch up with friends! We also have a small, well-equipped self-catering kitchen, and new clothes washing and drying machines. Free car-parking is available on site to guests.

Going to the Isles of Scilly? You can park your car at YMCA Penzance now for just £25 per week. Limited spaces are available so please call us for availability.

YMCA Penzance offers the following room types:

2 beds (can be single beds or bunk beds)

4 beds (2 x 2 tier bunks)

6 beds (2 x 3 tier bunks)

All accommodation prices include a light breakfast.

Fresh bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided free of charge. We have a limited number of towels available to hire. Hot showers, toilets and wash basins are provided separately for men and women. When booking dorm rooms, please state gender of all guests staying as rooms, although shared, are split by male and female. Thank you.

YMCA Penzance is located 5-10 minutes' walk west of Penzance town centre or 15 minutes' walk from the bus and railway stations. If you're travelling to Penzance by public transport, you can catch a bus no. 5 from the bus station at the bottom of town and it will drop you, and your luggage, right outside our door. There is also a taxi rank outside the railway station.
