Rios Tropicales is a small hotel and tour operator in Livingston Guatemala, located on the main road and not far from the wharf and close to many others tourist facilities. This place has 10 lovely and spacious rooms with fan and hot shower in the private bathrooms are lovely and there is a peaceful courtyard with flowers and hammocks. Good Coffee and Breakfast available all day long. Courtesies are free wi-fi and free luggage room.

Our rooms have murals painted by fellow travelers. There is a sunny outdoor roof area which you will be able to enjoy and where you can meet fellow travelers.

There are internet facilities available which guests are free to use. Furthermore, there is a restaurant which serves many different types of dishes.

We offer ten charming rooms in a peaceful atmosphere, 5 with private bathrooms and 5 with shared.

If you are traveling from Guatemala City, we suggest you to travel by Litegua (bus company) once you are in Pto. Barrios go to the main pier and from there you will be available to take a taxi boat to Livingston. Prices are Q35 p/person and there is one ferry at 5:00 for Q20.00

The best way to get reach Livingston is through Puerto Barrios, please make sure that the boat is heading to Livingston and you agree to the fare before boarding.

How to get to us?

From Livingston's Main Pier to the hotel you have to walk around 100 m up the hill to our place. We are situated on the main street just in front of the bank "Banrural" and the Municipality. Close to migration office.
