From the Tangenziale di Bari, take exit 12 (Carrassi-Carbonara). The structure is located close Centro Sportivo Di Cagno Abbrescia.

By Bus (from Bari):

The structure is connected to Bari by means of bus no. 4 of the AMTAB line that departs from Corso Cavour.

By Air:

The airport of reference is represented by the airport of Bari - Palese.

It was a bit far out from everything and there was not much to do around the area. The staff were very friendly but I was a little dissapointed in how empty it was . The rooms had no fans or a/c so it was very stuffy. It was cheap and clean and close to a supermarket and bus stops

I think the only quality of Ostello La Nouva Arca is that it is cheap. Very far from the city town, vey hard to find, the staff speaks poor english or non, breakfast is the same everyday and it's next to the high-way which makes it very noisy. And they refused to let us use the air conditioner even when we offer them to pay the extra cost!
By the way, to get there from the airport you should take bus number 16. Get off at the last stop the Railway Station and then look for a bus stop for number 4, walk two streets on the right of the railway station there is a bridge for cars that's the street oon which you can take number 4, and then you have to tell the driver to get you off at "teatro di cagno". He stops at near a cross road with lots of traffic lights since you cannot ask nobody were it is, just go to the small street right in the middle of the traffic lights at the end of the soccer fields there's the hostel.

You can easily walk to old town in 40 minutes and most neighborhood seems friendly for walking, big expensive villas, only last 200 meters are a bit spooky to the hotell - so safety should not be a big issue for choosing this hostel. There are no restaurant or pubs closely around so either bring (prepared) food for evening or prepare to walk or catch a bus. Im not sure wheter there were cooking facilities, i did not look for it!
