The Al Palazzetto is located at the end of Calle delle Vele, in the quiet Calle Corrente, just a short distance from the Ca' d'Oro, the magnificent 15th century palace overlooking the Grand Canal.

On leaving this delightful bed & breakfast in Venice, and after a short walk, you will come to some interesting and spectacular sites such as St. Mark's Square in 10 minutes and the Rialto Bridge in 5 minutes, as well as extremely characteristic places such as the old Jewish Ghetto and the Misericordia Abbey.

You can also go to the famous Rialto market where we Venetians shop for fruit and vegetables and excellent fish from the Adriatic Sea, by crossing the Grand Canal in a gondola over the attractive St. Sofia crossing just a short distance from the bed & breakfast.

The central location of this house in Venice makes it easy for you to head out to some of the islands. In 10 minutes you can reach Fondamente Nuove which is the main route for the island of glass, Murano and the famous islands of Burano and Torcello.

Al Palazzetto has double, triple and quadruple rooms. All the rooms have a comfortable and brand new private bathroom with bath tub or shower and hairdryer as well as satellite digital TV, air conditioning and a safe.

The rooms are decorated in a sophisticated and particular taste which blends in perfectly with the typical Venetian style. The rooms are all large and elegant, with walls covered in damask material and Venetian flooring. Some have exposed beams and four poster beds. The room overlooking the Rio di Santa Sofia, a picturesque canal in the old town centre, is very romantic. On’ the top floor is a large attic room with wooden flooring and Louis XVI style furniture.

We would be delighted to welcome whole families, who can stay in the large rooms which can be communicating if required. These rooms are also a perfect option for large groups.

By Gondola:

You can reach the hotel directly using the canal entrance.

By taking the direct Venice Air Terminal bus which will take you right to Piazzale Roma. From there you can take the no. 1 vaporetto and get off at the Ca' d'Oro. Walk right to the end of the Calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the left, is Calle delle Vele. At the end of the Calle there is a bridge, called Ponte delle Vele, at the foot of which begins Calle Corrente where you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.

By Car:

You can park your car in Piazzale Roma or at Tronchetto. If you park at Tronchetto, take the no. 82 vaporetto to Piazzale Roma. From there, take the no. 1 vaporetto and get off at the Ca' d'Oro. Go the whole way along the calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the left, is Calle delle Vele and at the end of the Calle is a bridge, called Ponte delle Vele, at the foot of which begins Calle Corrente where you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.

By Train:

From the Station you can reach the Al Palazzetto by taking the n. 1 vaporetto and getting of at the Ca' d'Oro. Walk right to the end of the Calle at the jetty and you will find yourself in Strada Nuova: on the opposite side to you, to the left, is Calle delle Vele and at the end of the Calle is a bridge, called Ponte delle Vele, at the foot of which begins Calle Corrente where you will find the Al Palazzetto at no. 4057.
