This excellent hostel a series of rooms located in a Georgian town house with rooms in the out-buildings set around a beautiful central court yard, has one large comfortable dorm, a single/twin and a double. It also has free WiFi internet access. This hostel had 4 star Visit Britain.

The rambling place (part was once a shoe factory) has simple but smartly decorated en suite rooms available as single/twin, one with a gallery, all very tastefully done. There's a fully equipped kitchen/lounge plus free WiFi internet access. Prices include continental breakfast. Please note the latest check in is 21.00 hrs in high season and 19.00 hrs in low season.

Head for Berwick Town Centre. You will arrive in the Main street called Marygate with the town hall facing you. This is the large building with the spire. Head towards the town hall, the road goes to the right of the building. At the end of the town hall take the first right down Hide Hill and the bottom of the Hill take a right onto Bridge Street. Berwick Backpackers is just over half way along on the right hand side.
