I really enjoyed my stay at the Temple. I was looking specifically for a place that overlooked the ocean and the first day I arrived she told me it was double booked for one day so she upgraded me to a better villa for the night and had her staff move me the next day. The staff was very polite and always helpful. My room was cleaned in a timely fashion and the only thing I was not keen on at first ,because I am traveling extensively from overseas, was no internet connection in my room but it actually turned out well because I met more people that way.
The only thing I would have liked to see was some potted plants in front of the room where the internet connection was to help filter out some of the street noise as it was a busy street. I am happy to report none of that street noise filtered down to my villa. It was a very restful stay and I would love to come there again to stay.

Temple Cafe Seaside Cottages has several bungalows, either over looking the sea or with sea views that have the 'Bali' ambiance all in a beautifully designed and maintained garden. Excellent value for money. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well presented and have spacious verandas. There is a very nice relaxation garden with loungers and tables next to the sea for sun bathing and views of the islands. Restaurant has all the basics and meals can be delivered to your room, they have a good range of tour options and the Australian owner is very respected, knows everything and everyone respects her.
It was a nice place if you wanted to have a very relaxing stay on a seaside and avoid the busy Kuta/Legian/Seminyak area. Shirley,the owner was very nice and helpful. A tv in a room would be helpful because there's nothing much to do at night around the area for a non-pub goers like myself.
