If you’re coming from San Jose, you need to get a bus from a place called “La Coca Cola" in downtown San Jose. La Coca Cola is a renovated bus station and from here, you can get buses that will take you to various places around Costa Rica. You need to get a bus that is heading to Malpais and Playa Carmen. The stop is in front of the hotel so you can’t miss it.

The journey will last approximately 5 hours.
