Hostel Almora is located midway between Granada and the Costa Tropical, is a largely agricultural area consisting of 19 villages nestled in amongst orange and olive groves, although if you visit between January and March it will be the blossom of the almond trees that catch the eye.

There is easy access to the Sierra Nevada and The Alpujarra mountain ranges as the valley lies between the two, and this is reflected in the altitude of the villages which ranges from 359m in Izbor to 931m in Nigüelas.

By bus:

If arriving by bus from Granada, the bus to Dúrcal/Nigüelas leaves every 30 minutes from Paseo Vidón close to the Palacio de Congresos. The bus stop in Niguelas is 100m from the Hostel. You can also catch the bus to Dúrcal and we'll pick you up from Los Mondarinos (ask the driver to let you know where to get off).

By car:

From the city of Granada, take to the 'Autovia' in direction Motril, south towards the coast. Approximately 25km from the city take the exit Dúrcal/Nigüelas and follow the signs to Nigüelas.

As you enter the village you'll pass Miguel's bar on the left and Calle Solanilla is the second small street on the right.
