‘Hotel Sol Almeria’ is located in the city centre of Almeria, in Andaluasia region. Only three minutes by foot to the Almeria Museum and ten minutes by foot to the Cathedral and rest of the main monuments.

It is a city of a very easy access from Mediterranean dual carriageway or if you come from Granada (Avda. del Perú) which allows you to have a very good access to the city and provinces.

Almeria is typically pictured as Spanish city with an abundance of culture and excellent Mediterranean cuisine, bars, shops, and a good night life. The city of Almeria is both modern and historical, dating back to the Bronze.

Almeria is notorious not only for its superb beaches but also for its rugged interior. It is here that you can find Mini Hollywood, a fully recreated Wild West town where you can see shows, cowboys, and a museum. In these deserts ‘Desierto de Tabanas’ and the ‘Cabo de Gata’ is where many spaghetti westerns were filmed. Texas Hollywood is also a film studio and theme park you can visit, and is where a Fist Full of Dollars was filmed.

To enjoy wildlife you can visit the ‘Cabo de Gata National Park'. It is a protected area which is highly valued for its flora and fauna.

So, there is a national park as well as beaches and also an aquatic park for family entertainment that is located in ‘Roquetas de Mar’, not too far from us. And for those that enjoy playing golf, there are three golf courses close to Almeria city.

Our Hotel is acclimatised and contains very comfortable rooms, very complete. All of them with full bathroom. You will have breakfast buffet, restaurant (where you can delight yourself with our Andalusia cuisine) bar/coffee shop, parking and WI-FI area.

Our rooms have been recently refurbished and they are very comfortable. They are fully equipped with everything you need, such as air conditioning, central heating, big windows, sound proofing, telephone, TV, hair dryer, etc.

From Almeria Airport:

Located 10 kilometers east of the city centre, Almeria Airport is the second most important airport in the Andalucian region. Regular national flights to Melilla, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, and Madrid are available from Almeria Airport as well as international flights to Munich, Dusseldorf, and London Gatwick.

Almeria airport has different charter companies flying in and out of it. It became one of the most important airports in the province of Andalucía because of its accessibility and amenities. It is situated at the end of the AL-12 dual carriageway, and it has access from the 'Autovia del Mediterraneo'.

Bus services are available at the airport. There are buses scheduled to leave the airport every thirty-minutes passing through the cities of Almeria to major points in the region. Taxis are also available for about 15 Euro to the city center.
