*if you book 3 consecutive nights for 2 and more persons. Reservations must be made in advance. Pick up time is 8:30 am to 9 pm. We accept 2 luggage per person, but do not pick up any surfboards/large items. Please make an alternative arrangement.
We are centrally located in Waikiki, very close to restaurants, shops, nightclubs, and less than 1/2 block to the Waikiki beach. All of our rooms are ensuite with toilet, shower, & kitchen.

CHECK IN REQUIREMENT
>Check in time is from 7:30 am to midnight Hawaii Time. Please note that our office is closed from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Rooms may not be readily available until 3:15 pm.
>All the guests must be 45 years old and below upon the date of check in
>When checking in, please prepare the followings:
1. VALID PASSPORT or VALID STATE ISSUED ID (must be 45 years old and below upon check in)
2. PROOF OF RECENT ARRIVAL TO THE ISLAND OF OAHU
We will NOT honor reservations of guests without the valid ID AND the ticket. NO REFUNDS will be made. We appreciate your understanding
CANCELLATION POLICY
We accept cancellations/changes only via e-mail. Please note that any cancellations/changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival time indicated upon booking. In case the arrival time was not indicated upon booking, any cancellations/changes must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.
The deposit will not be refunded or transferred for any cancellations/changes. We charge the total of the first night for all cancellations made less than 24 hours and no shows.
In case you cancel any individual night(s) of your reservation within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival time or upon/after check in, the deposit and the payment for the night(s) will not be refunded or transferred.
In case of no show, we will charge in full for the first night and cancel the reservations for the second night and thereafter.
We are conveniently located right in the heart of Waikiki, 1/2 blocks away from Waikiki Beach, very close to many shops, restaurants, surf spots, parks etc, and just a short drive to the most beautiful beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails, and attractions! We spent 10 days at Waikiki Backpackers Penthouse and definetely it was one of the best hostels we've been so far.
The place was well organized, clean, everybody was friendly and ready to help with everything.
The Waikiki beach was 2 blocks away, there were several restaurants around, supermarket, everything.
If you are not sure where to stay, don't hesitate about staying at Waikiki Backpackers Penthouse! We do recommend it

Very gentle place, not easy to find but has a very nice location on the top of the roof!Nice to be allowed using the facilities of the hotel below. Wonderful place for having breakfast on the sunny terrace! uncomlicated booking when you extend your vacation.

This place is really well located but i think the service could have been better. It was a good three hours before I could make contact with anyone when I arrived and one guy said he had just woken up (this was 5 pm!). I think no check in time between 1 and 4:30 is highly inflexible. That same staff member ( I think he was British) didn't seem that friendly and didn't really offer much advice on stuff to do. The friendliest most informative person was the owner's wife and I only met her on the last day as I was checking out. Free breakfast - what a joke! Crappy white bread, giant tubs of lard and some jam. I asked if there was juice and the staff member abruptly said no. The room was generally fine however the sheets on my bed were crumpled as if they had been quickly taken out of some cupboard they had been squashed in and the bed wasn't properly made. The air con also didn't work. Web access is quite deceiving - this means if you have a laptop you can get wifi but not actual computer and net time. I think this should be more clearly highlighted on the website. And watch out for taxes and a key deposit charge. THis is not stated on the website.
