Buccaneers has been described as being like a backpackers' village because of the way it's spread out over the 8 hct of wild coastal forest right next to the stunning Chintsa beach.

Most people say that it's a place to come home to, a legend in its own time. For us it is home and for the past 12 years we have been sharing it with people just like you - travelers from all over the world.

We like to think that at this stage we know what you want. These are some of the things we have learnt:

There's a lovely lively bar which has certainly seen some great revelry in its time. Our stunning tropical pool is a buzzy spot in the summer months when a gorgeous poolside cafe offers decidedly decadent refreshments (including divine pizzas!). And every day we have some sort of free activity so you can chill and meet the rest of the gang.

And for you, the quieter ones, Buccaneers is a haven of tranquility and natural delights.

Buccaneers is known for its great choices - and this goes for our accommodation as well.

If you're a couple wanting something really special, our en-suites are just divine with beautiful sea views and lovely private sundecks.

Our other doubles and twins vary in price according to their views but they are all situated in our rather cute little beach cotages with its own shared bathrom and living areas which open onto lovely bouganvillea covered patios.

Our double and twin safari tents offer a very good budget option for couples. Supplied with beds and bedding and within easy distance of the bathrooms and kitchen, they take all the effort out of camping!

We have one large airy dorm with stunning sea views and 4 smaller 4 bedded dorms which appeal enormously to groups of friends.

Camping is popular during the high season when people want to save their money for all the good things that happen at Buccaneers - the festive bar, the yummy meals and much much more.

Buccaneers is so easy to find

Easiest of all is to hop on the Baz Bus which will bring you to our door. We do pick ups in East London only by prior arrangement and only once a day. Self drives can reach us easily off the N2.
