Rainforest Lodge is a cosy budget hotel cum backpacker accommodation situated in the heart of the famous Gaya Street, in Kota Kinabalu City, the capital of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Gaya Street is the venue of the weekly market or "TAMU", where one can find all kinds of local products ranging from handicrafts, pearls, food, plants, antiques, and a variety of other interesting items. The Rainforest Lodge is located on the plaza in the heart of KK's bustling activity known as The Beach Street. The Beach Street complex consists of the Rainforest Café, SugarBun Café and the ever popular backpacker hangout, BB Café which provides nightly entertainment.

Every room has a balcony, individual air conditioning control, all rooms with fully functional air conditioning, 24 hours reception, satellite TV channels, laundry services, hair dryer (upon request), and a free Wi-Fi service.

All rooms are en-suite (except backpacker room), there is a reading lounge with free access to the internet.

In order to reach the destination, you need to follow these instructions.

If you are coming by train, you need to get off at Tanjung Aru Railway Station. Once you exit the station, you need to head north along Jalan Kepayan and then cross onto Jalan Coastal. After, you must continue along Jalan Coastal until you reach Jalan Sinsuran. Turn right at Jalan Sinsuran and then take a left onto Jalan Pantai. Afterwards, you need to continue along Jalan Pantai until you reach the destination which should be on your right hand side.

If you are coming by car from Kota Kinabalu Airport, you need to follow these instructions.

1) Head north on Jalan Lapangan Terbang (Lama) toward Jalan Airport Goverment Quarters

2) Take the 3rd left onto Jalan Mat. Salleh

3) At Bulatan Pantai Tanjung Aru, take the 3rd exit and stay on Jalan Mat. Salleh (go through 1 roundabout)

4) Take the ramp onto Jalan Coastal

5) Take the ramp onto Jalan Kemajuan

6) At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen (go through 1 roundabout)

7) Turn left toward Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen

8) Take the 1st left onto Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen

9) At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Jalan Segama 2

10) Turn right at Jalan Tun Razak

11) Take the 1st left onto Jalan Kota Kinabalu Lama 1

12) At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Jalan Pantai and the destination will be on the left shortly after.
