CHALET RESORTS- PHOTOS ON WEB SITE ARE VERY MISLEADING, APART FROM THE ONE SHOWING FRONT VIEW OF PROPERTY. LOCATION IS UP A STEEP HILL SURROUNDED BY VERY RUN DOWN PROPERTIES- VERY DIRTY AND LOTS OF LITTER- REFUGE DISCARDED IN WHAT COULD BE A LUSH GREEN WOODLAND. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AVAILABLE AND WERE TOLD IT WAS SOLAR PANEL THAT WAS BROKEN- NO INTENTION OF FIXING THIS. THE ROOF TOP DINING AREA WAS DIRTY AND THE CROWS RELUCTANT TO LAND! WE WERE THE ONLY GUESTS STAYING AT THE RESORT AND TO BE FRANK I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS CREEPY. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THERE WAS A DOG TRAPPED IN A PIT OUTSIDE OUR ROOM WHICH CRIED AND HOWLED TO GET OUT ALL NIGHT. WHEN WE REPORTED IT TO THE "MANAGER" HE LAUGHED AND SAID IT HAD BEEN IN THERE FOR DAYS NOT CONCERNED THE DOG MAY DIE OR HOW DISTRESSING THIS WAS FOR US TO LISTEN TO. WE STAYED FOR ONLY 2 NIGHTS AND ASKED TO BE REFUNDED -WHICH WE WERE WITHOUT ANY ISSUE.
I HAVE BEEN TO INDIA ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SO I KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE COUNTRY AND DONT EXPECT OR PAY FOR 5 STAR. THIS PLACE HAD NO FACILITIES AND IF I HAD REMAINED THERE FOR THE 3 WEEKS IT WOULD OF RUINED MY HOLIDAY. ON A HAPPY NOTE WE RECUSED THE DOG AND HAD A GREAT TIME AROUND INDIA.
