Welcome to Takahan Ryokan. Takahan Ryokan is a modern hotel in the resort of Echigo Yuzawa. Takahan Ryokan encourages its guests to observe the local custom in its oval tile tubs. In addition to relaxing bath, it offers to the guests marvelous food.

The onsen is located in high Mikuni Mountain Range. The hot spring water is classified as simple thermal and is good for high blood pressure, sluggish blood, rheumatism, neuralgia and nervous disorders. This is also a ski resort. In winter, the local customs take a bath in the hot spring between skiing and sake drinking.

We have 50 private rooms in our ryokan.

Each room has TV, telephone, internet connection, tea set, rfidgerator, shompoo, tooth brush, towels and Japanese bathrobe.

There are public baths, confrencr room, sauna, washing machine, massage service.

If you come from Tokyo direction, our nearest station is Echigo-yuzawa on Shinkansen express.

When you arrive at the station, We can can pick you up for free by giving us a ring.

It is also walkable from the station to our property and very simple direction.

Please take west exit and keep going on Yuzawa-onsendori for 30 minutes. The street terminates our Ryokan. It is apporoximately for 30 minutes on foot.
