The dormitory also has a main common room which is a large comfortable place, with a gym, large well supplied kitchen, computer area, a small library, tables for working/studying and a friendly atmosphere.

There are 3 types of rooms at Umeda Dormitory, the superior private rooms are larger than the regular private rooms and some of the rooms have a window.

Rooms are all fully private and have toilets (with washlets) on each floor.

All rooms are non-smoking, as is the entire facility.

Umeda Dormitory is situated near the JR Osaka station, next to the famous Sky Building.

It is a fifteen minute walk South to the station, while the tranquil Yodogawa River is only five minutes to the North.
