Backpacker owned and operated. Many aspects of the Weary are designed based on what I like when I am traveling. We provide a clean safe comfortable hostel where travelers meet other travelers. We have a large garden with full bar and nightly burn your own barbecue. A full breakfast buffet, transportation to the beach, salsa lessons, drinking water and more are all included in the price. From the hostel you can visit the ruins of Tulum, swim in cenotes or just relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

I got into Tulum from Belize on the bus at 3AM and there was someone at the desk to let me in and aim me at a bed! Bus lag is worse then jet lag!
The place was OK clean and pretty friendly, close to bank, bakery, good restaurants, and a fine vegetable market! I did some of my own cooking and washing, and occasionally splurged on dinner out. The breakfast/ bar system works well, and it's nice to get a free daily bus ticket to the beach. ! THey could use a better strainer on the dish sink so you can remove the usual food sludge from the drain, and some backpackers still need to learn how to wash their dishes! Not much has changed from 30 years ago! I'll probably stay here again.
