Our newly renovated boutique guesthouse consists of 8 individual guest rooms, all with air-conditioning and attached bathrooms. Free WiFi and desktop computers make sure that you stay connected while you are with us. The courtyard and a coffee corner invite you to chill out and to relax.

We really liked Sahabat, it had everything we needed and is in a good location for the centre and the KL Tower. The guys there were great to us and the free Internet and kitchen/TV room were really useful too... If we go to KL again we'll definitely come back... Cheers!

Sahabat Guesthouse was great. Good directions for taxi driver. Close to bars, restaurants galore. Good service and very clean and cozy rooms. Good value for money and if we are ever in KL again, we will stay here for sure as it is quite easy to get around and it's close to the KL city centre.

We had good communication via e-mail prior to our arrival. We had imagined we were going to meet and receive travel advice and local knowledge from Thomas on our arrival but were advised that the people we thought we were personally dealing with didn't infact go to the Guesthouse.
The location is good and the guesthouse was spotlessly clean, but we thought it was a bit expensive.
The staff were very nice, but it was difficult to communicate and we were unable to get any information.

Sahabat was a lovely guest house in a great location. The people were friendly and the facilities were wonderful. Our bathroom was a bit small-- though I think that was the exception rather than the rule, as we saw another room, and their bathroom was just fine.

My single room was clean, tidy and ever so comfortable. The pastel decor and the striped wallpaper gave it a peaceful air.
The staff were very friendly, very willing to help, knowledgeable and very chatty.
The location is a little out of the way, but if you can handle a strong walk from the stations then its ok. Also the surrounds are a little run down,typical of inner city, but the guest house itself is wellkept haven.And most importantly its ona quiet road.
I'd definitely go back for the comforts and fellowship.

Well congratulations, Thomas, Omar and the rest of the hosts/owners of Sahabat Guesthouse ! You've accomplished what you set out to do!I'd say I'm a rightfully cautious traveller when away from my home. The realist (but hopefully not pessimist) in me generally held the point of view that business owners and service people in the hospitality industry are your best friends until your bill is paid and you walk out their door. But this was not the feeling I was left with when I came to and eventually left Sahabat Guesthouse.
I loved my stay here for many reasons !
Besides the basics: very clean, safe, all the amenities worked, plus free coffee or tea , but most important to me, the hosts/business owners (Omar and Thomas specifically, and Yum [hope I spelled that right]) were superbly hospitable, gracious, knowledgeable and helpful about KL and Malaysian travel in general. If they didn't know the answer - they'd find out for you.
Sahabat Guesthouse was perfectly situated for me – on a quiet street for late night reading and emailing, and for perfectly paced slow mornings, while very convenient for getting out and about during the day.
For my first stay in KL, I couldn't have asked for a better, helpful, welcoming experience. The perfect first impression of a very friendly Malaysia !I'll come back again, if I'm ever in the 'neighbourhood'.
