Kyoto Hana Hostel is located in 5 minute from Kyoto station (433m, 473yd). The location is ideally convenient but is quiet because the hostel is located one street off the main street. Everything you need such as convenience store, grocery store, bank, foreign exchange, post office, bar, restaurant and karaoke place is nearby.

Bicycle rental (500 yen) is the perfect way to get around and see the quieter, older parts of Kyoto. Since it is easy to access JR Kyoto station, you can save time and easily make day trips out of Kyoto to Osaka, Nara and surrounding areas.

Kyoto Hana Hostel was opened in April 2010 to make your stay as cozy as possible. Free services are such as Wi-Fi, two computers for guests, English map of Kyoto, Englsih map of bus routes, coffee, Englsih tea, green tea, seasoning, luggage storage, washing powder, shampoo, body soap and smile : )

Equipped with a quite large sized loft bed. Guests sleeping on the top use the loft and unlike ordinary bunk beds, you can keep your luggage up on the top. Taking the bottom, you can sleep in an independent single bed under the loft. Each bed has a personal bed light, plug outlet and curtain. You can surf on your bed by Wi-Fi.

+++Japanese Style Private Rooms+++

Almost all private rooms remain traditional Japanese style with \'tatami\' mats and sets of \'futon\' bedding. Also many of them attach an independent bathroom and a toilet. We have various private rooms such as twin/double/triple ensuite and twin/triple/quad shared bathroom.

We give you a stamp for each night at any J-Hoppers Hostels (Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Hida Takayama) or Hana Hostels (Hiroshima and Kyoto). You will get a discount or a special coupon on every 4th night.

+++Cancellation Policy+++

If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, we will require 2 days advance notice before the date of your arrival (e.g. if your arrival date was on the 5th, then before 10 p.m. [Japan Time] of the 3rd), otherwise you will be charged the cancellation fee of one night\'s stay.

For groups of more than 5 people, we may require additional condition when you make a reservation request.
