The Hotel Mevlana is located in the city centre of Amsterdam and close to all the major attractions of Amsterdam, the famous Dutch Royal Palace is just next to us, 10 minutes walking distance to the red light district and to major shopping street.

And surrounded by bars and coffee shops, our hostel offers direct access to Amsterdam\'s most bustling quarters.

Our hostel has 65 beds in total. We are the ideal hotel for larger groups as well as individual travelers. Our hotel has nice and comfortable private and shared rooms which can hold up to 6 people.

Our mini supermarket and lounge are at the ground floor of our hostel which offers a variety of food and drinks. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner can be enjoyed in our restaurant. Our friendly staff is happy to provide you with all of the tourist information that you need!

With Central Station nearby and Dam square just around the corner, the rest of the city can be easily accessed by foot. Many of Amsterdam\'s main attractions and popular squares are convenient within walking distance.

City tax 5% is not included in the room price and is to be paid on arrival

rooms were very clean. Bedding wasn't great, my sheets were ripped. Very small rooms. Bathrooms were sometimes a little gross, but I guess they clean them pretty frequently because sometimes they were fine. Overall, it's a decent hostel.

Its a very central location..10 min walk from amsterdam station..its a stones throw from dam square..
The biggest negative is you could have a room on the 2nd floor and upwards and its a terrible staircase. its small and winds up almost vertically..better be prepared for a strenous climb if you are travelling heavy. There is no breakfast. Internet is free and the reception is friendly and open 24 hours..Else no negatives..complete backpackers idea of a place to sleep and use as a base
