... and we recycle all our garbage !
we got either 4 cozy private rooms OR a bed in super comfy dorm (with noOoo bunkbeds ) to choose from
and if you like it comes with a good breakfast even till after noon

We stayed in the big dormitory with 4-7 people. The room and beds were nice and comfortable. The atmosphere was cozy and the hostel felt more like a big home of travellers than just a place to stay for the night. The staff is really friendly, helpful and welcoming to all guests. Breakfast is included and there's free Wifi and a computer in the common area. The hostel is located at the centre close to the zocalo and many nice restaurants, shops and bars. We highly recommend this hostel to every traveller staying in San Cristobal de las Casas!

Very clean. Nice rooms. Felt very safe leaving stuff there. Relaxed atmosphere. Extremely helpful staff. English spoken fluently. Use of kitchen and drinking water provided. It is a small hostal so it has a really cozy, family like feel to it. It isn't like one of those backpacker hostals where they cram as many people in as possible just to get your $$$ and don't offer any customer service. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. I planned on only staying 2 nights but stayed 3 just because I liked the hostal so much. Great location, close to the center. Great value for the money, I reccomend staying here.
The couple who run El Hostalito are very obliging. It is well resourced for backpackers. Unfortunately there was no water on the last day but I think that was a problem in San Cristobal rather than with the hotel itself. It was very handy to the centre of town.
