Over Pioneros del Valle Hostel

Located at 220 km from El Calafate, in the National Park "Los Glaciares", there is a little touristical town called "El Chalten". This magical place has as main attractions the Fitz Roy mountain and the Cerro Torre with its impressive needle, and besides it offers other imposing landscapes like colorful woods of oaks and lenga trees that shelter several glaciers.

At the starting point of the self guided trails leading to these astonishing sites, we find the Hostel Pioneros del Valle, the most modern hostel in the area that by means of its professional staff provides a friendly and pleasant environment for a warm stay in El Chalten.

Our hostel has 12 spacious rooms with heating and multifunction private bathroom, magnetic locks and individual lockers.

The assistance provided by our professionals 24 hours a day creates a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Guests may enjoy other aminities such as our fully-equipped integrated kitchen and dining-room, where they can have a drink with friends or cook their favourite dish. Besides, they may use the luggage locker. Housekeeping and laundry are available every day.

We also offer shuttles and tours through our travel agency called "Cal tur".

Dit is een Vertrouwde Recensie. Waarom?

Fabulous. The people are soooo friendly and so helpful. They let us wait in the hostel for free as check out is 10am and we needed to catch the bus at 5pm. Facilities are good, very clean, free internet. Only down fall is that breakfast is not included. But we would definately stay here again!!

friendly helpful staff with walk planning,english spoken, rooms cleaned daily, great shower, secure lockers, upstairs lounge nice and quiet, laundry service available so no facilities for doing your own, many large but few small pots for cooking, limited cooking utensils, fridge too small, flies a problem in the dining room despite frequent spraying.
