We stayed for a few nights (13/05/11). The hostel was still undergoing building work and most days we ended up having to push our way past builders. I ended up cleaning the bathroom as it was pretty grotty when we arrived and after a few days it hadn't improved. The only other shower was headless so not ideal. Our room was very cramped and small and because of the building work everything ended up covered in dust.
In terms of location we found it fine as it is close to taksim square and all it's transport links. We had a fantastic time in Istanbul but it would have been even better if the hostel was even remotely like it's website would lead you to believe.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great price, which includes breakfast and a free turkish bath! Great location, 2 minutes walk to Taksim Square or Istiklal Street. Cool hostel, I liked it!
