The Central Hostel, Ennis, Ierland

The Central Hostel is located in the centre of Miltown Malbay, renowned for it's lively pubs. Traditional Irish music, dance and song is part of the daily life of the people on the west coast of County Clare.

Live sessions take place in local pubs most nights throughout the year, where the musicians play for their neighbours and not just for visitors. But local or visitor, everybody is welcome to join in or simply to enjoy the 'Craíc' Each July, the world famous Willie Clancy Summer School takes place, attracting thousands of musicians, dancers and lovers of genuine Irish traditional music & dance.

We're only 20 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher, half way on your route from Kerry to Connemara, and the perfect base to discover the West of County Clare with The Burren, Loop Head Peninsula and the Aran Islands.

Our hostel offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and quality budget accommodation for groups, families and individuals. All rooms have recently been renovated and refurbished.
