Striking was the fact that no one at the reception speaks english. The single room with its own bathroom, where I stayed, was very small but with a high ceiling and very clean. An average breakfast and a free parking card is provided. Alte City's location is Charlottenburg, near the modern shopping streets/subway access points and away from Berlin's major touristic sights.
