Lesbos, the Greek Island is easy to reach by ferry with 1/2 hrs trip.Ayvalik is a coastal town that embraces you with generosity with it's magnificent sunsets, cobblestone streets, foods prepared with local grown herbs, delicious olives and olive oil, ancient Greek houses resisting time persistently, population exchange stories and etesian winds with iodine smell.

It's a historical seaport which can't be forgotten if you once chance on. You may also visit the ancient cities close to Ayvalik such as; Bergamon(60 km),Assos(130 km),Ephesus (200 km),Oren, Troja(150 km) and Zeus Altar(55 km).
