We offer clean and comfortable accommodation. We are the perfect stop on your backpacker trail around Udaipur. Bhanwar Vilas is the brainchild of the \'Architect of Tourism of Mewar\' Mr. Bhanwar Sharma. In early 20th Century Mr. Sharma was only one of the two guides in Udaipur. He had mastered a number of Indian & foreign Languages such as Gujarati, Marathi, French, German, Italian etc. Mr. Sharma dedicated the major part of his life in guiding both domestic and foreign tourist. The contemporary Royal Court had appointed him as an interpreter for the foreign dignitaries during their visits to His highness.
Mr. Sharma did not intend to launch the guest house for financial gains. He had a burning desire to acquaint the tourists with the mewari culture and rich traditions of the city while making them feel at home. He had expressed this intention to his grandson since he could not muster enough resources in his life time. Taking in his grandfather\'s foot steps Mr. Ashish Sharma extended his vision as humble effort to pay homage to the great soul.

RSSIt was a very good place to be in Udaipur, experience was great, The owner of the place is very responsible, articulate and disciplined. They were quite flexible in the way they keep track of the guests and are always ready to serve as per the visitors need and comforts. As in our case we only told them to book for a one day one night stay but had to be there for 2 night and 3 days so they gave that accommodation with great ease to us. Also the owner as i called him Uncleji is very caring person and he was ready to help us in any and all possible ways when me and my mum had to leave to Nathdware at 3 pm at mid night. That was really a very kind gesture from the owner's side. They also allowed 2 of our relatives to accommodate in our room for a night which was an immediate and emergency need for us. For me staying at Bhanwar Vilas was an experience of living in a home away from home.
The other good things about accommodating there was its centrally located, very near from the best tourist site in Udaipur that is The City Palace. Just get down from hotel and there is such good market of handicrafts, handmade items, and other goodies which are perfect buy. Each and every place to be visited in Udaipur is just a matter of 5-10 minutes from Bhanwar Vilas.

It was a wonderful place to stay at, a home away from home. Appreciate the owner for accomodating us at 5am in the morning when we arrived from jaisalmer. Though our room was occupied and would not be ready till 10 am, the owner promptly put us up in a much larger and expensive room than what we had booked and did not charge us anything extra and allowed us to remain in the same room for the next 3 days, i do not think in this era anybody will give you such hospitality. We were floored. The owners are very helpful, the rooms and the bathroom included is very clean. The food served is one of the best food we have eaten in Rajasthan. the guesthouse is centrally located and easy to go around. would recommend this hotel to anybody going to udaipur
