The only thing I didn't enjoyed about my trip in Isla Mujeres was my hotel, Marcianito. First, they do not accept credit cards as it is said in Traverllerspoint's description. Then, my room was not clean. I mean, when I choose a cheap hotel, I do not expect a five star one, but I at least expect a clean bed. The cloths and bed linen were old ones, not washed since - at least - the previous traveller slept in it. Plus, there were multiple very very small bugs or ants running all over the room. I know in Mexico there are insects everywhere, but those ones were rather a sign of dirtiness. The only thing nice about Marcianito is it's spot downtown Isla Mujeres, but it makes town noises very easy to ear by night. I recommend you spend a little more and choose another hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this small,clean hotel. Was noisy some nights but when you are in the center of town it can't be expected to be anything else. We really appreciated getting clean towels everyday an they were very clean and like new.The sheets were also very clean and crisp. We would stay again.

I booked this hotel on line. The room was clean and basic, nothing fancy but nice enough. And the staff very helpful. The reason I had to leave after one night was that the music from clubs close to the property kept me up till almost 2 AM.
