Our newly opened hostel is in the heart of the Singapore city, less than 3 minutes walk away from the Singapore River, and 5 minutes walk away from a MRT (tube/metro) train station.
River City Inn is a family-owned and operated hostel. As travellers ourselves, we know that affordability should never compromise hospitality. Everything you need to provide a comfortable stay are available: Free Wi-Fi, Clean Sheets, Good Breakfast, Air-Conditioning, and more!
But at River Inn, we aim to offer something more. After you have explored the winding streets of Singapore, experienced the different cultures, delighted your taste buds and worn your shoes under the sweltering heat, we want to welcome you back. We want to offer you a place to unwind, write your journal, talk to other travelers and share stories. We aim not only to provide a bed for the night, but a space for the exchange of ideas, inspirations, personal reflections and growth. Because that is what traveling is about.
Terms & Conditions:
• All rates are inclusive of taxes
• Check in time: 1400hrs
• Check out time: 1200hrs
• Our reception runs 24hourly, so if you have an early flight, you may check in early and use our facilities or you can leave your bags with us whilst you head out to explore the city.
• Likewise, if you have a late flight or bus to catch on the day of your checkout, you may leave your bags with us at no additional cost.
• To keep our prices low, we accept cash only for payment.
• To upkeep the environment of a backpackers hostel, we do have a policy of no children under the age of 12. For local guests returning from overseas, please contact us before booking.
• Please note that we are located on the 4th floor of a heritage shophouse without a lift.
• For groups above 8 pax, please contact us before booking on the website.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
• We would be grateful if you could inform us at least 48hours in advance should you decide to cancel or make any changes to your booking, otherwise the first night's charge is applicable.
• We will keep the room/bed for you for 3 hours from the stated time of arrival. After which it will be released for booking. If there is a delay in your itinerary, we would appreciate if you could let us know through phone or email.

We really enjoyed our stay iver in River City Inn.
We felt as if we are at home, as the place is so tidy clean and neat.
The staffs there were so friendly and we felt comfortable with such an environment.Cleanliness : 9/10 (The place is so tidy and neat, clean toilet as well)
Location : 9/10 (as i like the Clarke Quay night life)
Staff : 8/10 (There were always staffs near the counter whom we could refer to)
Character: 8/10 (Friendly ppl)
Fun: 7/10 ( I cant really judge this as I was out almost the entire day but from what it seemed after I'm back to the inn was there were so many ppl out in the hall watching movie, online and etc., they were enjoying themselves.)My suggestion for improvement would be keep the price a bit lower as to increase the interest of everyone to return back to the same inn.

Location is very near to MRT station,Bus stop,near to Chinatown,Singapore river very strategic.
The facility very clean,neat and also the service two thumbs up.very highly recomended for others travellers .

Apart from our room being noisy at night ( due to the people, not the hostel's fault), it was a great hostel. The only slight negatives were: towels were $3 rental, not included, and breakfast was only a banana and white sliced bread, although there were plenty of choices of spreads for the bread! I'd stay there again.

I had a very good time staying in River city Inn. It's very clean and staffs are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend everybody to try River city Inn and I am quite sure you will not be disappointed

Minutes from the MRT and local bus services, this hostel ticks all the boxes. Helpful, friendly staff who can't go enough for their guests. The place is spotless thanks to the "no shoes inside" policy. Comfortable beds with linen and blankets provided, breakfast is available until 12:00 noon, not just for a couple of hours. The bathrooms are immaculate, with shower heads above average height for you tall people. You are definitely missing out, if you don't give River City Inn a stay on your next trip.

The staff is very friendly, always happy to help you. All is very clean and the athmosphere is wonderful. If we will go again to Singapore we will stay there for sure.
