We are situated within the triangle between three of KL\'s most popular city destinations; China Town, Little India, Bukit Bintang and the Petronas Twin Towers where you\'ll discover an almost unlimited choice of cafe\'s, restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, vibrant nightlife and well, traffic congestion (for that, you don\'t have to worry because we are very close to KL\'s Star & Rapid Train station; a convenient way to move around the city).To fulfill every travelers need, Step inn offers four types of accommodation. At our Budget Wing , the rooms are clean, spacious, air-conditioned with windows / fan rooms with windows. Twins / Doubles / Family rooms are available depending on your preference. Our areas is surrounded with greenery and its peacefull even though its in the middle of the Golden Triangle

i stayed in the fan dorm with 4 beds, it is not small, and not noisy, but the sheet and the pillow is not very clean. i had the sleeping bag , so that was not bothering me, and you can use hot shower, and free breakfast, and cook in the kitchen, the owner and the staff are very nice. it is close to the puduraya, and a famous indian temple. it is good as a guest house!

Very good location. Can walk to Petronas and the city centre from the guesthouse. Very helpful staff and he gave a good briefing on where all to go around in the city.

This place is really nice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in KL. Thanks to the extremely polite and humble inn keepers I was able to get into the flow of the hustle bustle city. They let me know about how not to get ripped off and all that jazz. Plus they told me the cheapest way to get to Batu Caves. A must see if you go to KL. As an Australian backpacker / journeyman / traveler I would recommend these guys. No frills. No bullshit. Just nice honest people providing a good place to stay and sleep.
PS. Don't trust cab drivers from KL Sentral or the Airport, get buses, it's quite a safe city and easy to navigate if you have your wits about you.

Strongest point: very, very friendly staff who went out of their way to help me with directions and general advice about the city. Other than that this is a pretty good example of a budget guesthouse - you probably won't find better for such a low price (40 ringgit per night for a single room), which includes breakfast (toast and coffee - surprisingly tasty, considering). The rooms are basic (mine literally had just a bed in it) but clean, and all have windows (surprising how many of the budget places don't). Bathrooms are fine, they're all shower-toilet cubicles, which takes a little getting used to, but clean.
There were lots of common areas to hang out in, which is good because the rooms can get a little claustrophobic. Sofas and TV in reception, a spacious kitchen area (no stove, just kettle and toaster), and a huge verandah out the back. Good wifi reception.
And a great location - a few minutes away from the subway station, and just off a busy road with plenty of convenience stores, cheap restaurants etc, though the actual street is on is quiet. Walkable to all the main shopping/ sightseeing areas. Overall, I'd recommend this for anyone on a budget. It's definitely not the Hilton, and the walls are a bit thin, but it's unlikely you'll find anywhere better at this price.
