Apartment Iva, Hvar, Kroatië

We are located in a peaceful neighbourhood just 8 minutes from the centre of town. The closest beach is 150 metres away, with a diving centre, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants situated along the way. Facilities for boat, scooter and car rentals are also conveniently located in the area.

Apartment Iva is located in the family home of Plenkovic Marica in a quiet part of Hvar town on Hvar Island. The house is situated 200m from the city centre and 100m from sea and beach.

The studio apartment has a separate entrance from the house and available parking place. It has access to a large garden and a terrace with a BBQ area. The terrace is a suitable place for small children where they can play without fear of traffic. Other apartment has its own balconies overlooking the sea.

The Apartments Iva is two studio apartments with separate entrance, kitchen and terrace overlooking the garden. Rooms with double bed (200cm by 90cm) and a private bathroom. The ensuite bathroom has a spa shower.

There are 2 other bedrooms available:

- Rose Bedroom is a twin sharing room (12 sq. meters), with balcony and view of the fortress and observatory.

- Blue Bedroom is a double room (16 sq. meters), with balcony and view of the fortress and observatory.

They share a communal bathroom and kitchen.

If you are travelling to Hvar from Split by catamaran (1 hour journey), you will arrive at the harbour in Hvar town. Stepping out of the catamaran, turn right and walk along the coast all the way towards Kerum supermarket and then cross the road at the zebra crossing and walk upwards (passing the diving centre and the butcher shop). After the butcher shop at 10 meters, turn right at the steps (look for the house with green fence balcony, peach walls and Bougainvilla plants). Ask for home Marica Plenkovic.

If you are travelling to Hvar by car, depending on the direction (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary) you need to go through Zagreb to Split or Drvenik with main Croatian highway A1 or along the Croatian coast from Rijeka to Split or Drvenik. From Split you can take car ferry to Stari Grad on Hvar (105 minutes), or from Drvenik (south of Makarska) to Sucuraj on Hvar island (25 minutes). The choice of ferry might depend on where is your final destination on Hvar, the price, the frequency of departures and the length of crossing. Stari Grad is closer to Split and Town of Hvar (20 km road). Sucuraj port is more suitable if you are coming from the direction of Drvenik (departure port) and Dubrovnik.
