Red Inn well located and generally quiet. If full of movie buffs this probably would not be the case due to communal area design !!
Breakfast could offer more variety other than fried food and fruit. Fruit great. Maybe some pancakes or roti sometimes.
Reception staff friendly and reception area inviting.
Men hanging outside Reggae Inn next door a little annoying and off putting.
Rooms smaller than generally described in website. Comfortable for 1 person but squishy for couples for any length of stay. Honesty would impress guests. Not really value for the money paid for a delux room!!! There are other places at this price range which provide much better facilities.
Although generally clean not particular attention to detail. Internet not working, solution go to other Red inn. Light bulb missing....... oh a guest must have taken it but no replacement.

My partner and I stayed in the double with on-suite bathroom. The room is very basic but clean. You have to pay extra for a blanket as there were only sheets on the bed but the blanket wasn't big enough for 2 people and only covered our legs. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows are very hard. The walls of the bedroom are wafer thin and situated next to the shower rooms so you can hear every once iof noise. What they don't tell you is that Red Inn is situated right next door to a Karaoke bar. We experienced very bad singing loud and clear until 3am in the morning. We didn't get any sleep and ended up leaving early and going to a hotel.
Breakfast was coffee and pastries.
The internet is one PC accessed at the check in desk. The screen is facing the entrance so no privacy.
Only recommended for backpackers who are heavy sleepers, staying one or two nights.

+ve: Red Inn provides clean bed and bathroom, with TV + DVD at the hall for shared/mixed doom for entertainment...the environment is cozy and security is good, breakfast is reasonable for the price paid for....the owner is polite and great....and there is internet and wireless service provided.
-ve: there is no bedsheet and blanket provided need to rent, and the karaoke next door is a bit noisy but it goes off at around 3am (during weekends, not sure about weekday)
