Over Dudes Guesthouse

Experience the amazing turqouise water and the powdered white sand of Jambiani Beach. Our Guesthouse was finished in February 2010. It is a gorgeous villa right at the bank of the Indian Ocean, in the small fishing village of Jambiani.

We have 3 bedrooms two with ensuite bathroom and one with seperate bathroom, a nice livingroom area and a large well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms have fans and mosquitonets. There is hot and cold water in the house.

There is a big terasse, a nice garden with sun chairs and cocnuts palm trees, banan trees and different plants. There is an outdoor shower. We are 15 meters from the beach and the back of the house is in the village. There are restaurants, shops and beach bars close by.

Dude is living on the top floor and he will cook your breakfast, you can also order dinner or lunch from the menu. Dude is born in Jambiani and he can arrange tours both in the village and around the island.

I've stayed in Dude's Guesthouse the last two times I've been to Zanzibar and I love it. The location is beautiful, just feet from the beach, with a lovely veranda and garden. The food is great, and the surrounding beach restaurants as well. The house itself is beautiful, high ceilings, local art, clean and cool. And you can't beat the price. I've been to a bunch of other beach places around Zanzibar, and Dude's is my first choice.

Dudé was a fabulous host and guide. The property is in an absolutely idyllic location and the house and outdoor spaces are perfectly suited to a relaxing stay at the beach. The village of Jambiani is quaint and peaceful, but is near enough to some more built up areas along the coast so that you can enjoy all facets of beach life. Dudé's cooking was incredible, and his attentiveness and hospitality made our stay wonderfully memorable!
