The Baraka was wonderfully decorated, so clean and a great space overall. The place does not have many rooms so it feels very intimate, but private too. And breakfast was great thanks to Ann.

I would also like to add 5 stars for fun, friendly and felt like family on the above star rating board for our 2 night stay(sadly not longer) at Riad Baraka. The wonderful welcoming Anne opened the door and rolled out the red carpet around 9 pm after our 6 hour, more like 8 hr bus ride from Casablanca.Despite the late hour& our booking not coming through at the time we were signed in, had fluid refreshment of our choice organized and settled within 15 mins. What a great all round host our Anne was. We even had our laundry attended to despite the inclement weather & ready to backpack out all squeaky clean for our early bus out of Chefchaouen. It rained for our 2 day stay but we didn't care as all 8 guests enjoyed sitting around in the comfy lounge area sharing stories and travel tips with Anne providing us with refreshments and being our MC- Mistress of Ceremonies, ensuring we were all comfortable and entertained. We were very impressed by our 6 am cups of tea to farewell us b4 our long bus journey back to Casablanca too. In a nutshell- Riad Baraka is exceptional with it's customer service, value for money as well as it's unique tastefully decorated- many hand painted artworks including murals to make it the best stay you could have in Chefchaouen, Morrocco.

We stayed in a double room without bathroom. The room was big enough, super cleen and pretty. Bathroom was for share but each floor had one big bathroom so I didn't have to wait or so. I especialy loved to have beer at the big terrace with defferent levels when sun sets. The price was definately reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Location of the hotel was also very center but not in the middle of Medina, so it was quieter. The hosts of the hotel were super friendly, funny, and also helpful ! The mom gave us tasty breakfast although we woke up too late, and Joe rented me his camera because mine was broken...thank you !!! I can honestly say this is the best opption to stay in Chefchaouen.

Lovely riad, comfortable, clean, and with excellent service. Great value for a traveler who wants a welcoming home base to explore a beautiful city from. The detail and decoration are lovely, the terrace a great place to relax, and the family that runs it are friendly and fun people. Even if you opt for a room without an ensuite bathroom, you will find the hallway bathrooms to be just fine.

The location is great for exploring the medina. You can't go wrong with this place.
