Situated in Carmen Alto, it is the only completely colonial area of the Historical Center of the City of Oaxaca.

I stayed at Posada Don Mario for 3 nights at first, Oaxaca is fantastic and Posada is within walking distance to all the tourist sites all rooms are private, we stayed in a room with private bathroom on the rooftop, it was comfortable, clean and colorful, the “Economic Breakfast” is included and delicious “Enfrijoladas, then Entomatadas and Mexican eggs”, finally Norma and her staff are very friendly and helpful
