Fujimi Ryokan Aizu Wakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan

We are a small and cozy ryokan, ideally located only 2 minutes walk from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, and convenient no matter where you go. The famous sightseeing spots, such as Ouchijuku (traditional Japanese houses from the Edo Era), Bukeyashiki (houses for samurais), and Aizu-Wakamatsu Castle are all close by. We offer moderate prices for both families and business customers. Customers can choose to stay with or without meals, according to their convenience. We also welcome groups of less than 20 people, and long-stay customers, so please consult us beforehand.

We have 2 floors, ​​​​​​​​​​8 guest rooms, all Japanese style, peaceful and comfortable​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Breakfast and dinner are served in the dinning hall, which has a very homey atmosphere. Our okami (landlady) is a great cook, and you will find our food absolutely delicious.

We have 2 public bathrooms, both ​​​​​​are family bath, for customers to take turns and ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​use privately. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Our public restroom is on the first floor, for customers to brush their teeth or wash up.

If you are interested in taking a natural hot spring bath, we recommend you to go to 'Fujinoyu', a spa house across the street from our ryokan. You can take a bath there at the cost of 390yen, very relaxing and refreshing. ​

From Tokyo:

From Tokyo Station to Koriyama(Fukushima) Station, by JR Max Yamabiko Shinkansen, 81 min.

From Koriyama Station to Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, by Aizu Liner, 66​ minutes.

From Osaka or Nagoya:

Take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo Station first, and then follow the above direction from Tokyo Station.

By Air:

Fly to Fukushima-Airport.

From Fukushima-Airport, take a bus to Koriyama Station, about 40 min.

Take the Aizu Liner from Koriyama Station, to Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, 66 min.

After getting out the exit of Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, turn right and walk straight forward. Pass the Fuji Grand Hotel on your left, and walk a little further, you will find us on the left side of the street, only 2 min from the station.
