I paid more than a private room in a hotel, and got really bad service.the room and bathroom were dirty, aswell as the dishes for breakfast. For the checkout they didnt wait for me to do the proper checkout, instead while i was out they took all my stuff out of the bed, took the blankets off and let a new girl step in!

Banana Beach Hostel was a fun and great place to stay, right on the beach and next to bus stop, so easy to get around everywhere. Staff were really friendly and partied up each night. Ended up staying longer than planned...
Brilliant place to stay, definitely one of my favourite places throughout my travels of South America.
The hostel is under refurbishment but this did not disturb or spoil our experience.
Great setting, great location, absolutely lovely people who went out of their way to help us and tell us about the area.
Would love to visit again when the refurbishments are finished!
