Dear journal,
I am glad I chose to stay at Pillows & Toast in Chinatown, Singapore.
The hostel was in a convenient location, just a 3-minute walk away from Chinatown MRT. The hostel spans 3 and a half floors, and it\'s entrance on the ground floor made it easy to find.
The staff were really friendly & cool. After a speedy check-in, they introduced the amenities of the hostel to me. My room was really safe & secure with electronic key card access & I had my own locker!
There were ample shower rooms & toilets on every floor. They even provided the 3-in-1 shower gel. There were lots of hooks & racks for me to keep my clothes dry in the shower. Not to mention the nifty hair-dryer provided. Woo hoo! The shower rooms were clean & I really could go on showering forever, but... you know, I had to be considerate to others.
I also loved hanging out in their cozy attic lounge with the rest, playing on the WII, and getting a leg massage on the massage chair. Imagine that! How many hostels actually have a huge attic lounge & a massage chair to boot!
I simply had to upload some pictures of the hostel on Facebook & the free WIFI made it really easy to do so from the comfort of my bed. There were personal electrical sockets & reading lamps so that I won\'t disturb my room-mates. I loved snuggling in my bed under the cozy duvet, chatting with my friends on Facebook. And oh, the mattress was oh-so-so-comfy!
The hostel also provides a tasty breakfast. I would recommend all my friends to try their kaya toast, which will leave you yearning for more. :)
It was such a breeze getting around Singapore with the MRT close by. I can\'t wait to go back to Pillows & Toast again. The cozy hostel with the orange & white sign board located at No. 40 Mosque Street, Chinatown, Singapore.

Please note that we only accept non-locals. Guests without a valid foreign passport will be rejected.
We also do not accept guests below the age of 16 years of age.
Please note that we provide personal lockers in every room. Please bring your own padlock (shackle must be at least 5 mm thick to be able to lock the door) for security reasons. Thank you!
Late cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the cancelled date is considered late. The outstanding accommodation charges will be payable.
Due to the different group sizes & lengths of stays of our guests, we seek your understanding that we might not be able to accommodate your group in the same room. We will, however, definitely honour the room type booking that you have made with us via Hostelworld.

If you're a first time tourist in Singapore and is looking for a budget hostel that offers a cozy environment, excellent amenities and friendly staff, you should definitely try Pillows & Toast.
If you are into weekend parties, the place is just a 10-min walk from Clark Quay. The Chinese bazaar is just in the other street and 24-hour Chinese as well as Korean restaurants are just around the corner. If you are up to relaxation and body pampering, massage spas are everywhere. Since it's just a 5-min walk to the nearest MRT station, the place is ideal for hopping into different Singapore tourist attractions.
Every morning, toasted bread and coffee are up for grabs, the staff would even offer assistance to ask you what you need and have a little chit chat. There is no curfew, they don't care if you're out all night as long as you bring your electronic card to access the door. Overall, I enjoyed my 5-day stay in Pillows & Toast and I would definitely choose Pillows & Toast for my next Singapore visit and even recommend it to my friends.

I really miss P&T..!!!!!It's like a warm family, everybody is kind. I will definately go to P&T again if I go to SG again!! Love guys there <3

A good location near Chinatown MRT. friendly helpful staff, clear surroundings and facilities (thanks to the no shoes policy). Whilst few rooms actually have windows, there are electrical points with reading lamps over the beds. Would definitely stay there next time I am in Singapore
