Hello and welcome to Bananas!

Bananas Hostel is a colourful and friendly place to stay in Itacaré, a surfy town set amongst stunning beaches and Atlantic Rain forest. You will never run out of beaches to visit or things to do in Itacaré and we are more than willing to share our favourites with you.

Not only are we close to beaches and trails but our location in the middle of the main street 'Pituba' means bars, restaurants and shops are all within stumbling distance. If you don't want to go out, you can always grab a caipirinha from the Bar-nana Bar and relax in a hammock or unwind in the unique grass couch amongst hummingbirds in our large tropical garden. We have a variety of social and chill-out areas to choose from according to your mood. You wont run out of entertainment with our movie nights shown on the projector and for those sports fans we show international sports including footie and rugby. And, to keep you extra comfy we're in process of changing all of our mattresses to Orthopedic mattresses.

We stayed in many hostels ourselves before starting our own and have tried to add all the good bits into one hostel!

We have a range of room options including dorms, doubles or kitchenette all with en-suite bathrooms. Camping is also available on request.
