For the price this hotel is fine. If you want to be in the trendy areas don't bother and perhaps single women may prefer another area, but for the price our room was comfortable, free wireless internet in the room with a good signal, clean bathroom and enough space for luggage and spreading out a bit. The breakfast is a bit ordinary but there is plenty of it so budget travellers can fill up! The staff are friendly enough but we had little to do with them as we were out and about all day. If you don't like walking perhaps you should get a hotel close to all the tourist action but we enjoyed walking everywhere from here to explore different areas.

The gentleman who looked after us was helpful and most welcoming..... you may wish to reconsider staying there if you are a girl or with a young family as it is situated in a rather seedy area.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, especially the one who welcomed us. Though the place entails walking to and fro the bus station, i highly recommend it to tourists because it is cheap and clean. The breakfast is redundant, though, so be prepared to eat the same food every morning.
Unfortunately we were staying at the Aristotles At the same time as a busload of German teenagers and their behaviour has clouded our opinion of the hotel. The manager tried very hard to get the leaders of the school group to keep them quiet but the noise, shouting and banging of doors all night does nothing for the reputution. It was very clean with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The view out of the window was the crumbling back wall of a neighbouring property. The hotel is very handy to the station and an easy walk to many of the cities attractions. Would we recommend it? Yes, if you could guarantee that it would not be overrun by some of the most obnoxious teenagers we have ever come across.

Very friendly older man on the welcome desk who gave us lots of good advice. Breakfast wasn't that good but overall we were very happy with our choice of hotel.
