Comfortable, friendly hotel. Great location. Breakfast excellent, included boiled eggs, honey and yoghurt. Wifi in room. Excellent value for money

I stayed at Cecil Hotel two times, once for one night, the second time for
two nights in April 2009. Very close to Monastiraki, this is a good location.
The rooms were better than I had expected, especially the first time when
I got a room on the 4th floor. The second time there was a strange,
very unpleasant smell in the room so I had to keep the window open - a
problem because it was on the first floor and there is a lot of noise coming
from the Athenas street. Breakfast is quite acceptable. Considering the
price (40-45€) I would rather not complain.
