Excellent bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in the Stansted area with FREE airport shuttle. Built in 1930's - originally a working farm situated in the heart of the Essex countryside now family run b&b.

All our room rates are inclusive of shuttle to the airport which operates from 04:00 to 09:00.

We accept cash, euros or cheques with banker’s card and we accept all major credit cards for payment.

Evening meals:

We recommend eating at the George it's just minutes away and the food is superb. We can book a table for you if you request it at the time of booking.

An alternative to the George is a short taxi ride to the town of Bishop's Stortford which has many bars and restaurants.

Various breakfast options are available from cereal, fruit juices, continental

and a range of Danish pastries.

Full English breakfast is available upon request, at extra charge.

We Have A no Smoking policy Check in is from 16:00 through to 22:30. Arrangements can be made for early/late check in. Check out is by 10.00 a.m.

Latchmead is 5 miles from Stansted and 2 miles from Bishop's Stortford, the main line rail link to London and Cambridge. We can arrange a free collection from the train station which is one stop from Stansted between the hours of 16:00 and 22:00 which must be arranged in advance of your stay.
